Heinrich Päs – Time-Travel in High-Energy Neutrinos

About Our Guest

Dr. Heinrich Päs is a professor and researcher in theoretical high energy and astroparticle physics. His research focus is on neutrinos and theories beyond the Standard Model.

Over the past decade he has worked at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik in Heidelberg, the University of Valencia in Spain, Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN, the University of Würzburg, and two years at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI.

He was awarded a PhD in 1999 from the “Ruperto Carola” University of Heidelberg (established 1386) and the Habilitation in 2005 from the “Julia Maximiliana” University of Würzburg (established 1402). During the course of his work he was also a visiting scientist at the Gran Sasso Laboratory in Assergi/Italy, the ICTP Trieste, the INFN Perugia, CERN Theory Division and Fermilab Theory Group
